Uber — Anniversary & Uber Boat Launch Personalization

To mark its first anniversary and the launch of Uber Boat, Uber hosted a PR event celebrating movement, innovation, and new ways of experiencing the city. I was invited to take part by creating live personalization on waterproof bags, designed for guests to use while on board.

The bags were customized on-site and became both a practical and memorable element of the event — functional, durable, and aligned with the launch’s water-based concept. Working on waterproof materials added an exciting technical layer to the project, requiring a different approach and reinforcing how personalization can adapt beyond traditional surfaces.

One of the aspects I enjoy most about live events is exactly this: experimenting with new materials and unexpected canvases, and finding ways to translate brand identity into something tactile and personal.

A well-thought-out activation that combined utility with experience, and a great example of how personalization can support product storytelling in a natural, engaging way.
